CMS' RDS Center has added a new Avoid an Overpayment at Reconciliation section to the RDS User Guide.

On Monday, April 6, 2015 the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the Cost Threshold and Cost Limit amounts that apply to Plan Sponsors participating in CMS' Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) Program, with qualified prescription drug years that end in 2015, as well as the parameters for Medicare Part D plans in 2016.

Telephone support through CMS' RDS Center Help Line has been discontinued.

CMS' RDS Center has updated the RDS Welcome Kit with two new Vendor-related resources. Additionally, new questions and answers have been added to the Appealing an Initial Determination section of the Common Questions.

On February 3, 2015, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced it will be discontinuing telephone support through CMS' RDS Center Help Line in March 2015 and an exact date would be provided soon. CMS has now determined that telephone support will no longer be available after March 27, 2015.

RDS Secure Website users can now ask questions and report issues directly to CMS' RDS Center through RDS Secure Website support requests.
